Terms 

Payment

All payment is required at the time of consultation or upon collection of your animal following surgery.  We do not operate an accounts system for any clients.  We accept cash, cheque (with supporting bankers card) and credit/debit card.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please order in advance any items you might wish to pick up from the clinic - give us at least 24 hours notice.  You may phone us before collection to check that your items are ready to prevent a wasted journey.

Visits

For the veterinary surgeon to examine and treat your pet to the best of his ability it is necessary to have the equipment and support staff available to have him in the clinic.  In exceptional circumstances visits can be arranged but they have to fit in with treatment of animals already at the surgery.

Taxis

We appreciate that not all taxis will carry animals but you can phone Castle Taxis on 0800 332211 to arrange journeys to and from the clinic.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you consider insuring your pets.  Although this will not cover neutering, vaccination or routine flea and worm treatments, it will pay for unforeseen and sometimes very costly illnesses and emergencies.  Many companies now offer pet insurance; you can make independent inquiries or our staff can advise you on PetPlan policies (which can include a free eight weeks cover).
